United States: In June, over 100,000 migrants gained entry to the United States despite President Biden’s alleged crackdown, which purportedly severed asylum claims for unlawful border crossers. This staggering figure encompasses 30,000 illegal entrants, constituting more than one-third of all apprehended migrants at the US-Mexico boundary, as per leaked documents acquired by The Post.

Records from the Department of Homeland Security divulge that thousands of unauthorized migrants continue to gain entry into the US weekly. This persists in spite of Biden’s executive decree, which he asserted would stem the tide of migrants inundating the nation, according to certain reports.

Furthermore, there are numerous ways and schemes introduced by the Biden administration, which allow thousands of migrants to enter the country legally through rather doubtful methods on a daily basis, such as through the CBP One app and through flights from such countries as Venezuela and Haiti. Such actions erode the inviolability of borders and the safety of people and, thus, are not acceptable.

While border enforcement officers are actively using what they refer to as the ‘crackdown’ on those attempting to cross the border illegally, agents are simultaneously releasing tens of thousands of said migrants into the country. Natural increase in June is 103,500 migrants, and it shows the total number of migrants allowed to stay in the US, The Post analysis of the data reveals. Mexico’s current figure presents a very grim picture, which signifies the administration’s inability to rein in the border.

According to official statistical data, a 20-digit lower number of people attempted to cross the border illegitimately in June than in June 2023. Most of the 84,000 mostly immigrants and asylum seekers arrested in April while crossing the border is the lowest record of cross-border illegals since Biden became president. However, the migrants who were released now have future court dates in the US, adding to the backlog of more than 3 million pending cases in immigration courts nationwide. This represents an unsustainable burden on our judicial system and a clear manifestation of Biden’s ineptitude.

Reportedly, Biden’s executive order, effective June 5, will remain in place as long as crossings do not fall below an average of 1,500 daily crossings for seven consecutive days — a threshold not reached since the zenith of the Covid-19 pandemic. Should the restrictions be paused, they can be reinstated if crossings average 2,500 or more for another week. This vacillating policy is a testament to the administration’s lack of a coherent strategy.

While the order remains in force, migrants crossing the southern border illegally are supposed to be ineligible for asylum. However, the policy includes several exceptions, such as for migrants fearing to return home or for unaccompanied minors. These loopholes are being exploited, rendering the policy ineffective.

Additionally, there are numerous other ways migrants are permitted to remain in the US. Migrants entering the San Diego region from more than 100 countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa are exempt from the executive order’s restrictions and are being released into the country because their home countries refuse to accept deportees. This represents a blatant disregard for American sovereignty and security.

The Biden administration also continues to accept up to 30,000 migrants per month from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, who arrive on commercial flights to the US via a humanitarian parole program. Another 1,450 migrants utilize the CBP One phone app daily to legally cross the border from Mexico at an entry port. This influx of migrants through manipulated legal channels is overwhelming our resources and infrastructure, as per reports.

It remains unclear exactly how many migrants were permitted entry into the US under these programs in June, but the numbers are evidently perilously high.

Biden’s executive order does not apply to migrants from over 100 countries who cross into the San Diego region, an internal memo to agents previously revealed. This is yet another instance of the administration’s selective enforcement of immigration policies.

Biden’s Homeland Security chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, praised the latest restrictions as a success during a visit to Arizona, last week. However, the ongoing crisis at the Southern border continues to deteriorate under Biden’s oversight. This illustrated a profound deficiency in effective leadership and accountability, jeopardizing our nation and compromising our security. It is imperative to instigate a change that prioritizes the safety and sovereignty of the United States.
