United States: According to seven (7) prominent insiders from the Biden campaign, the White House, and the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Vice President Kamala Harris is poised as the leading candidate to succeed President Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket, Reuters disclosed on Wednesday.

The revelation to Reuters mirrors the frustration within the Biden campaign due to his lackluster debate performance and the ensuing demands for his withdrawal from the race.

In the past two days, there have been four damaging disclosures about Biden. Earlier leaks revealed Biden’s propensity for napping during debate preparations, staffers’ apprehensions about approaching Biden due to his temperamental outbursts, and former President Obama’s concerns regarding Biden’s electoral viability.

The initial two leaks were refuted by the White House as inaccurate.

With the ease of redirecting Biden’s campaign contributions to his vice president, Harris stands as the leading contender.

A CNN poll on Tuesday indicated to Reuters sources that she possesses superior name recognition and polling figures in comparison to former President Donald Trump.

Nevertheless, challenges remain.

Harris’s approval rating is a mere 39%, significantly below the 50% threshold typically required for incumbents to secure reelection. As the border czar, she has struggled to manage the open southern border.

Political analysts suggest Democrats face a conundrum with Biden for three primary reasons:

1. Replacing Biden on ballots across all 50 states is a daunting task.

2. Amassing the requisite funds for a new candidate presents considerable difficulty.

3. Identifying a willing and viable replacement who is prepared to face a tough election is challenging.

“People may fantasize about another savior, but there’s a process, and last I checked, it’s a Biden-Harris ticket. She’s second on the ticket,” said Donna Brazile, former interim chair of the DNC.

“Biden remains the Democratic nominee and isn’t going anywhere,” she added.

However, not everyone concurs with Brazile. “It’s nearly impossible to secure the nomination against the vice president,” asserted Michael Trujillo, a former Democratic strategist for Hillary Clinton, supporting Harris.

“All the delegates are not merely Joe Biden delegates; they are Kamala Harris delegates,” Trujillo explained. “She will have substantial backing and a sizable delegation across all 50 states from day one.”
