United States: Hamas’s recent announcement of a ceasefire isn’t a gesture of goodwill; it’s a desperate move to dodge responsibility and hold onto power as Israel prepares for military action.

Their sudden acceptance of ceasefire terms after weeks of refusal raises doubts about their intentions. Reports suggest they might just be stalling to manipulate public opinion.

The Israeli officials, speaking rightly, demonstrate that the talks that Hamas claims to have accepted were totally different from any sort of negotiation that Israel suggested or agreed to. It proves that Hamas is not as holy as it seems, and thus, it deceives the International Community.

The ceasefire of Hamas that is coming right at the moment when Israel blames them and forces Gaza to be evacuated, which is the last stronghold of Hamas, is no doubt suspicious. Such indications have resulted in the flight of thousands of civilians who have taken advantage of this warning system.

The Israeli message sent widely attempting to warn citizens is a clear commitment to minimize human losses as compared to Hamas’s apathy to the lives of innocents.

As Hamas is on the verge of complete elimination, it is necessarily in agony and pain. Their aim is not to improve the people’s lives but to live the best life while controlling the Gaza residents.

Before, negotiators were disappointed because Hamas did not abandon violent methods or declare itself in favor of peace. Israel would not be wrong in its demand that Hamas should be disbanded because such a step is forward in the process of restoring regional stability.

Hamas first should require security restraint from Israel, which is a hypocritical and misleading act, as it is just the selfishness of Hamas who wants to protect themselves more than the welfare of the Palestinians.

When facing Hamas militarily and deciding their condition, the terrorist leaders may recognize their path is at a dangerous point. However, their premature willingness to negotiate is not the actual sign of their contributions to the peace, which is more of a deception.

The neutrality of a ceasefire of Hamas is much more likely to be questioned. The international community must be mindful and refrain from any attempt made by Hamas to endanger peace and hence must keep a strict check and balance on Hamas’s acts.
